PADI Deep Diver

The lure of the deep. There is something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving. Dive with confidence at depths down to 130 feet with the Deep Diver Specialty Course.

Does not include: 

• Gear rental ($200 + hst) 
• Park Dive Pass (required)

Duration: 2 half days

Minimum age: 15 years old

Prerequisites:

• Advanced Open Water Diver certification 
• Cold water diving experience

Minimum participants required to run the course:
If fewer than 2 people are registered for a session:

• we will contact you in advance to reschedule or combine with another group

• alternatively you may be offered the option to run the course privately at an adjusted rate

What will I do?
You will learn deep dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and hazards.

You will also put this knowledge to the test as you go on four open water dives that range from 18-40 metres (60-130 feet).

How long will it take?
Four required open water training dives will be conducted over two days.

What scuba gear will you use?
You will need a dive computer along with the rest of your basic scuba equipment. A dive light and slate are also recommended.

You can count the Deep Dive from your Advanced Open Water Course as the first dive of this Specialty course at instructor's discretion.

This Specialty course certification also counts as one of five Specialty certifications required for Master Scuba Diver certification.
