Discover Scuba Diving in Tobermory

If you are interested in scuba diving, but unsure if you want to enroll in a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect way to 'test the waters'.

In a very short time, you will learn basic scuba skills and take your first breaths underwater!

There are two parts to the Discover Scuba Diving Experience:

1 - Complete PADI eLearning
Prepare for your Discover Scuba Diving experience with the PADI DSD eLearning using your mobile device or computer. This can be completed as soon as you book your tour and takes around 20-30 minutes.

2 - Meet your PADI Instructor
A PADI professional will fit you with scuba gear and explain how to use it. In a calm water environment, you will practice basic diving skills. Then enjoy an optional guided dive to see the shipwrecks!

Rate: $259 + HST

Duration: 2-4 hours

• eLearning
• In person instruction
• One guided dive at a local shore diving site "The Tugs"
• All required rental gear

Prerequisites:

• Basic swimming skills
• Medically fit for diving

Details:

• Minumum age: 10
• Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, to complete waivers and should remain nearby during the tour
• Private groups tours are available, call or email to inquire about group rates

Minimum participants required to run the course:
If fewer than 2 people are registered for a session:

• you will be contacted and given the option to reschedule or cancel
• alternatively you may be offered the option to run the course privately at an adjusted rate
